We’re a congregation that cares. As Christians, we care about others and strive to have a positive impact on other people’s lives. Whether it’s someone in our congregation, our community or our world, we’re there in times of need, in times of joy and all the times between.
We demonstrate our caring spirit every day. We volunteer. We reach out to charitable organizations. Whether it’s painting a house, donating food or raising funds to buy fruit trees for others across the globe, we help our neighbors in need. Read more about our people and our congregation »

In the Christian tradition, colors are used for vestments and paraments. The colors serve to adorn the worship space and call attention to the nature of the season or festival being celebrated.
The St. John logo uses three colors that carry special meaning.
In addition, white surrounds the logo. This festive color is used in many church celebrations, suggesting light, joy and the celebration of our Lord.
The vibrant colors evoke positive emotions. Gold/yellow brings out optimism and warmth; blue conveys trust, dependability and strength; and green calls to mind peace and growth.
Emphasis on people and the cross
In the logo, you see a family of people forming a heart around the cross. This helps symbolize our mission – a Christian family, living our faith and enriching lives. Our church is about all of us coming together to live our Christian beliefs and values, while enriching the lives of ourselves and others… with the cross and Christ at the center of everything we do.
